Subdomains are a means for creating separate accounts
within the main hosting account. These accounts will be
accessed through different URLs by the format
http://subdomain.yourdomain.com. When you create a
subdomain a folder called “subdomain” will appear in
your “public_html” folder, having its own “cgi-bin”.
